The "Miss Karen" is a 26’ Maycraft with a 225 HP Yahama and all the required safety equipment. Captain Dick Whitehill is a USCG licensed captain (50 ton Master) who has navigated the Virginia waters since he was a young man. We specialize in customizing a day for 2 to 4 people on the middle Chesapeake Bay from the mouth of the Rappahannock. Fishing is seasonal and ranges from bottom fishing for spots and croakers, to trolling for bluefish, Spanish mackerel and striped bass (rockfish). Weather permitting, we can also make runs to the Eastern Shore for flounder. Typically, we leave the marina in Topping, Virginia between 6:00-7:00 in the morning and return around 2:00-3:00 in the afternoon. Half day trips are available and we'll be happy to include a cruise of the beautiful rivers in the area (the Corrotoman, Carter's Creek, Urbanna Harbor, etc.) as part of your day.
